Jeanne Cardana Fine Art

Jeanne captures the heart & spirit of her subjects – be it equine, domestic, or wildlife. Spanning 40 years, her biological, wildlife & medical illustration works have been featured in scientific & domestic publications & textbooks. Her richly detailed pieces have been shown & awarded in several national art shows. More recently, “Dapples & Greys” received a Merit Award at the Colored Pencil Society of America DC 201 28th Annual Colored Pencil Exhibition.

Jeanne's background in biological/scientific illustration & experience working with horses has translated into her art. Equine & wildlife art have been in the forefront of her work as she captures the essence & personality of the animals. Recently, she's been incorporating her love of animals & nature into children's books with her first book, "Stella's Parade." Giclée limited & open edition prints of some of the featured plates from the book are available as well as from her award-winning equine drawings.

Jeanne is currently an Associate for Women Artists of the West & member of the Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators (SCBWI), Colored Pencil Society of America (CPSA) & Oregon's Three Rivers Art Guild.
